We are a scientist and a clinician from the south of Jordan, who passionately believe that research and innovation are necessary to drive the future health and wealth of Jordan. We have demonstrated work in the medical research field through scientific publications, patents, and drug development. We established a local company (Swiss Health Care LLC, 2020) in the south of Jordan to build a medical research and an innovation hub (iMReC), as our contribution for the advancement of our country.
We have used every spare moment, and every personal funding resource to establish the nucleus of iMReC. Thus far, the laboratory building is completed with an up-to-date specific-pathogen-free (SPF) animal research facility. The center started receiving trainees and customers in 2022.
We initiated research programs to identify and develop innovative therapies (small molecules, peptides & natural products) for treating prevalent diseases in the region, mainly autoimmune diseases, and cancer. We started a training program to upskill young scientists in research.
To build a better future for patients and young Jordanian, we shall continue with this endeavor to full success and sustainability, not only for the south of Jordan and now, but for the region and humanity, and for many years to come.
