We select candidate mixtures that are safe and have been used for many years and reputed to be effective in a number of diseases. We conduct through preclinical studies, using in vitro analysis and well-established animal models to provide scientific evidence for the reported efficacy. Also, we optimize the herbal mixtures in terms of ingredients, concentrations, acceptability, and formulation. Upon completion of safety studies, the mixture will be registered (Medical devise or cosmetic). Via a partnership model, the herbal product will be produced, packaged, and marketed.
Currently, we have four natural/ herbal mixtures that are being developed for:
- Inflammatory skin diseases
- Enhancing memory in the elderly
- Natural disinfectant solution/ spray
- Enhancing patients recovery from the effects of cancer treatment
The first two products are the most advanced.
Product 1: Cream for Psoriasis
We have recently completed the classification procedure at Jordanian Food and Drug Agency (JFDA) for a natural mixture with prominent therapeutic potential in psoriasis. The mixture has gone through series of preclinical studies using animal models; these studies were designed and conducted in accordance the scientific, ethical, and regulatory principle governing preclinical investigation. The product has been optimized as a cream in all pharmacological aspects and ready for production and marketing.
Product 2: Capsules for Enhancing Memory
We have identified natural ingredients that aids memory. Following investigation, we have identified its mechanism of action. The product works in a comparable mechanism to the currently approved and marketed Alzheimer cholinesterase inhibitors such as donepezil, galantamine and rivastigmine. We are formulating this product into capsule and proceeding with its registration.
